Mad about The Mentalist

For the actress, 36, costarring in CBS' breakout fall hit has its perks- like teasing Simon Baker.


- How did it feel to see your ratings?
   I was up at 6 o'clock [the morning after the premiere] looking at them, texting [costar] Simon Baker. There was a lot of jumping around. Now he expects me to deliver the news every Wednesday. It's ritual.


- You're friends?
   He's awesome. I knew him before we started. He teases me and I'll tease him. I make fun of him that he's sort of a sex symbol. I call him "The Heat". And when I wear a certain coat, he calls me "The Fonz".


-Besides working with Simon, what's the biggest perk of being on a hit?
  I got air conditioning and my bathrooms are gonna get retiled. My house was built in 1958, and my sinks and countertops are from 1958. I'm excited- a little home improvement!

Another new interview released by FoxNews in which Robin talks about her new movie released today, Looking Glass, and also some of her iconic roles such as in Craft and Empire Records. Robin Tunney has starred in some of the most iconic films from the ‘90s, but these days she’s opening a creepy motel alongside Nicolas Cage just for a good thrill. The duo star as a married couple in “Looking Glass,” a voyeuristic film where they are faced with disturbing, unexplained events occurring inside of what should be a desert oasis. Tunney, who captivated teens in cult classics like “Empire Records” and The Craft,” said she’s been waiting for years to work alongside Cage —and it was worth it. Robin Tunney's Answer to the Fans Book!

I've received today Robin's answer to the Fans Book I've sent her last February! And she also included a special gift with the message, the cross chain Lisbon used to wear during Season 1! I can't express how awesome that is, it's like holding the most wonderful treasure in my hands! I will not thank Robin enough for her sweet message, and for the wonderful gift. You are awesome Robin!! I hope Robin's wrist will heal very soon, and I appreciate even more that she took time to write something despite that! Get well soon Robin! ♥ The Message: "Maria, Thank you for the beautiful book! My wrist is broken so I cannot write much.
