The Mentalist in Paris?
Bruno Heller, the series' creator, said that during an interview to the French Magazine " Télé 7 jours".

The Mentalist: an episode shot in Paris?
Bruno Heller, creator of The Mentalist, which is currently airing on TF1, says that there is a possibility that the show will be shot in Paris.
"I think that we'll go in Paris for Season 5. It's not impossible, from a money point of view", says Heller.
Heller also rules out the possibility of having French actors Audrey Tautou and Jean-Paul Belmondo on set, it would be too expensive. But, he says that Antony Hopkins could be a guest on the show, if he will agree.
Heller also said that he would love the idea of a crossover with CSI, saying that it would be possibile since it airs on CBS as well.

ReplyDeleteThat's a fab news! A show like The Mentalist shooting in Europe it's something cool! I know the shopw is having a massive success in France, so I think the news is very welcome there! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm Italian, but I studied French for 5 years and I can understand it, and speak(not very well tho!). I've been in Paris recently with a friend, and I loved it, second time, but always glad to be there! :-)

And while Season 5 doesn't come, they could make a trip to Chicago, dont they? It's cheaper and in the same country and would make a very happy fan xD

Oh, I don't know why but I wouldn't be quite positive with the ideia of a crossover with CSI. I mean, I know why, I don't like CSI haha

ReplyDeleteI used to watch CSI,especially at the beginning with Grissom, but I stopped cause I didn't feel interested anymore... I'd like to see a crossover tho, not sure how they would work together, but would be nice :)
What would be really absolutely amazing would be having Hopkins... I mean, he is a legend!! He would be a freakin great RJ!!
