"Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) got close to another pseudo-psychic detective, only to see her get kidnapped by archenemy Red John in May's season 2 finale. "You'll find out what happens to her in the first three epsiodes," assures exec producer Bruno Heller. A new cranky uber-boss (Damages' Michael Gaston) will create drama, Agent Lisbon (Robin Tunney) will get a new love interest, and another man will come between Rigsby (Owain Yeoman) and Van Pelt (Amanda Righetti). But who--and where--is Red John? "Jane is getting a little closer to the truth," says Heller. "He can smell blood."

ReplyDeleteI'm so happy about it! I mean, I don't want it to last, of course, I want Lisbon and Jane together by all means, but she deserves a little "fun" and maybe we can learn more things about her. And my shipper heart hopes we'll get a jealous Jane xD

ReplyDeleteI just hope it's a serious thing, I don't see Lisbon having "just fun"... and since I'm a huge fan of Walter Mashburn.... I said it all LOL
I loved his character so much, so I hope a spoiler about him will appear soon! ^_^

ReplyDeleteOh, I know what you mean. I don't see that way too, Lisbon isn't a woman to "just have fun" with a guy. She really has to have a life outside the CBI. She's a beautiful and intelligent woman and she's not the one who's still wearing a wedding band. But being completely honest, I'm not sure if I'd like to see Lisbon actually "in love" with another man besides Jane.

And hell yes, I'd love if this "love interest" was Mashburn! Walter Mashburn rocks! LOL
The problem with Walter Mashburn I see is that he doesn't see Lisbon as something serious. She is just another challenge for him and I doubt their relationship actually would last. Which would only lead to Lisbon getting hurt and I don't want that.
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong I absolutely LOVE Walter Mashburn and if they'd flirt a little that would hurt no one but I don't want him as a serious love intrest. Lisbon deserves someone better than another (rich) showman.
I also think that guy should be totally different from Jane. I'm still hoping for Brad Rowe to return. He was playing the detective from "Seeing Red" (ironically the episode where they introduced Frye first).

ReplyDeleteI don't know, when I saw Redline at first you could have the impression that Mashburn is just a rich man who wants to have fun. But I really liked his connection with Jane for example, and it seemed to me that there is much more to explore. Unlike other guests, I think Mashburn can have a great potential. He's very charming, but I think that they can develop the character beyond that. Maybe all this is just due to the fact that I particulary liked the character, so I tend to see him under a positive light, but I had a good postive feeling about him.

We'll see anyway :-) maybe other details will follow, I'm really curious! ^_^
