Smokefall performances began one year ago today, on February 4th, 2016 at the  Lucille Lortel Theatre in NYC. Smokefall was Robin’s stage debut, playing the role of Violet, “a dreamy but loving mother”. (New York Times) “Tunney skillfully conveys both deep maternal love and a careworn forbearance.” (The Daily Beast) “Tunney injects Violet’s natural defeatism with compelling warmth.” (Talkin’ Broadway) “Robin Tunney, making her stage debut as Violet, is also exceptional”.  (NY Theatre Guide) Seeing this play was probably the most beautiful memory I have of 2016. Seeing Robin performing such a character was exciting, moving, something I'll keep in my heart forever. Following yesterday's announcement that the CrimeCon in Frankfurt won't take place, here's a message Robin shared on her official Instagram account: I will not be in Frankfurt in January. I am so sorry the event was cancelled. I promise I will come another time. I want to be certain everyone's ticket was refunded. I'm so grateful for everyone's support. The #CrimeCon that Robin Tunney was supposed to attend is now postponed to December 2017 in Barcelona (Spain). Robin is not confirmed yet for the new event. You can read the official statements from the organization  HERE and HERE As for the Messages for Robin project, if you want you can still send me your messages, until December 30. I will keep them all, and be sure to give them to Robin if she is going to attend the new event! If there will be any further news, I will let you know!
